Meet Annie, a young member from the plucked strings section.

TCO: How long have you been with the TCO?
A: I’ve been with the TCO for about two years.

TCO: What keeps you coming back?
A: The wonderful members and talented musicians that have taught me so many things! TCO is like my family!

TCO:. What instrument do you play and how long have you been playing?
A: I play the Pipa and I’ve been playing the pipa on and off since I was 6.

TCO: How did you get started with this instrument?
A: My parents thought the pipa was a beautiful instrument and even when I was young, I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. Now, pipa has been something that reminds me of my culture and where I’m from, even when I’m living so far away from China.

TCO: What other instruments do you play?
A: I also play guitar, violin, piano, as well as opera/choral music.

TCO: Other activities that you enjoy on spare time?
A: I enjoy shopping, watching movies, and sleeping. 😀
