Annika Chhoa was born in Canada and is 14 years old. She started learning piano and violin at the age of 5 and has played in many youth orchestras since. She is currently studying ARCT level for both piano and violin. When she turned nine, she decided to start playing the Guzheng because she thought it was an extremely cool instrument. Annika joined TCO in 2017 to learn from experienced musicians and to have more opportunities to perform. She has also recently started playing the Sheng. Some of her other interests include singing and drawing.
